TUPPER LAKE TINMAN Volunteer Assumption of Risk and
Waiver/Release for Injuries, Damages and Claims
In volunteering to assist in activities related to this event, I hereby acknowledge that such volunteer work may involve the risk of physical injury to me or others, damage to my property, or other risks or consequences, foreseen or unforeseen. I hereby assume any and all such risks, and I waive and release the Tupper Lake Tinman, Inc., its Officers, Directors and Team Leaders, the Adirondack Sports Council, the organizing committee, the Town of Tupper Lake, Village of Tupper Lake other volunteers, sponsors, officials, sanctioning bodies, counties, and municipalities through which this event is run and the State of New York
(hereinafter sometimes referred to as The Race Committee) from all liabilities and claims arising from my participating as a volunteer in this event. I certify that I have reviewed the Tupper Lake Tinman rules and safety guidelines. During my participation in the AMDF, I will comply with all AMDF rules and safety guidelines, all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations. I further hereby grant to the Tupper Lake Tinman, the Adirondack Sports Council, its volunteers, and all other affiliated persons and/or
entities, the free and full use of any photographic or video images made of me in my capacity as a volunteer for the Tupper Lake Tinman to be used for any legitimate purpose including, but not limited to, publicity or advertising.
If the participant is a minor (under 18 years of age), I further certify that I am his/her parent or legal guardian. I further agree to defend and indemnify the Race Committee for any claims made by or on behalf of my minor child or ward that relate to this event. I am also releasing any claims that I might have been against the Race Committee personally or in my capacity as parent or guardian.

Minor Volunteer Assumption of Risk and Waiver/Release

In consideration of allowing my child or ward to volunteer and participate in activities related to the Tupper Lake Tinman event, I, as the parent or legal guardian of the minor identified below, acknowledge that volunteer activities may involve risks of physical injury, illness, property damage, or other unforeseen risks to my child, myself, or others.
On behalf of my minor child or ward, I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with participation in this event and hereby waive, release, and discharge the Tupper Lake Tinman, Inc., its officers, directors, team leaders, the Adirondack Sports Council, the organizing committee, the Town of Tupper Lake, Village of Tupper Lake, volunteers, sponsors, officials, sanctioning bodies, counties and municipalities through which this event is conducted, and the State of New York (collectively referred to as the “Race Committee”) from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my child’s participation as a volunteer in this event.
I certify that I have reviewed the Tupper Lake Tinman rules and safety guidelines with my child or ward, and that my child or ward agrees to comply with all event rules, safety guidelines, and all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations while participating in volunteer activities.
I further grant permission to the Tupper Lake Tinman, the Adirondack Sports Council, and all affiliated persons and entities to use, without compensation or restriction, any photographs, video, or other media images of my child or ward taken in connection with the event for legitimate purposes including, but not limited to, publicity, promotion, advertising, or marketing.
I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor participant named below and that I have the legal authority to sign this agreement on the minor’s behalf. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Race Committee from any claims brought by or on behalf of my child or ward arising from participation in this event. I also waive any claims I may have individually or as parent or guardian against the Race Committee related to the minor’s participation.
